Well this is just another doodle card, super simple and didn't take long at all.  Some times its a nice change to have a clean simple card

Let's Face it Friday - Flower Power {Challenge 12}

THE CHALLENGE

Flower Power 

Create a project using a handmade flower. Handmade flowers are making a huge come back! At CHA this winter, we saw TONS of ways to make your own custom blooms using mists, petal rollers, and scoring tools. For this challenge, create any project you like, and embellish it with a pretty handmade flower! We've included some links for tutorials to help you get started on this fun (and resourceful) way of embellishing all your crafty projects!

Pinkalicious Blog hop

Well over at my pink stamper she did a blog hop last Friday and the theme was something spring

this card I made may come to a surprise to some of you cause it is not a "typical spring card" but it has the elements that remind me of spring.  Spring to me feels clean and fresh but simple, and color of course, that's why I went with this card.  Made it the day of her post but forgot to post it here oops, oh well better late than never!

Wee Memories Saturday Challenge

This Challenge was to create something spring and something green!! I am so excited about spring, here in California we keep getting teased with really sunny warm days and then RAIN!! Wish it would just make up its mind. Ok so I also want to share that on the last Saturday challenge  I was picked for FAB FOUR , so super excited!

Spring Fling Color challenge: EAD

Well its that time again for a fun color challenge over at the EAD blog spot!

the colors we had to use were.......

I love these colors together , and this is what I love about color challenges it makes you use colors you otherwise wouldn't put together, this is one of my favorite color combos!

Sister B-day card + Peachy Keen challenge

Well I was making a card for my sisters birthday which is coming up and while I was doing my favorite stitching I realized that I can enter this card in the peachy keen challenge!

THE CHALLENGE

Sister card!!

So I (TANYA) just whipped up a super easy card last night cause I wanted to send my sissy lala something in the mail I am very lucky to have her and love her soooo much...plus she just got a job promotion so with that said here's my card

Recipe: SO EASY

Blue card stock from my local craft store Stampers corner

Floral paper by Three bugs in a rug and the plaid is just the reverse side

Used some cute star brads

Twine

and sister embellishment by "soft spoken"
And last by never least ...singo white pen for stitching

Pictures from the shower!

Just wanted to share some cute pictures from the shower we did recently, some of the decor I didn't get pictures of but most of it was just critters cut large to hang in windows and tissue paper balls that we did with the help from Martha Stewart!!

So much food....thanks to my sister and mother in law I cant cook... hehe

We had frogs and butterflies too but by the time I realized I didn't have a picture of them it was too late ...they were eaten

Candy Bar!!

This table runner I made from fabric I found and Joann's I also made a large square one for my island with all the food on it (PS.. no sewing required I used hem tape and an iron...thanks to mom for this super idea)

I love to make banners they are so fun !!
